By using TIG's online educational resources and technology tools, participants turn their learning into action by developing community-based projects designed to raise awareness and address global environmental issues. From climate change to deforestation, the future of the planet rests on youth and students developing a sense of respect and responsibility for the world they will inherit. Fostering environmental stewardship is critical to addressing global environmental challenges, and education plays a key role in this process.
Through TakingITGlobal's environmental education programming, youth, students and educators around the world gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to collaborate across borders and develop innovative and unique responses to environmental challenges through school and community-based action projects.
