TakingITGlobal has created a suite of social innovation programming and supports for the courageous and unstoppable young person who is ignited with an idea to create a better future for him/herself and community. We work with aspiring innovators aged 16-30 from over 70 countries around the world to build their capacity to craft and launch effective social ventures. Through online education, unique mentorship and specialized training, we are cultivating the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Young people everywhere have the ideas and passion to change the world. Often, they need to develop skills and competencies to get their ideas off the ground. That is where TakingITGlobal's social innovation programming and supports come into the picture.
We will empower young social innovators by: inciting and enhancing a strong sense of civic identity and responsibility that focuses on the importance of leadership and practical, community-based action; provoking critical thought and meaningful reflection; supporting value-driven work that promotes sustainability; creating learning opportunities that build skills and competencies for life.
To date, we have bolstered the successful start-up of over 200 global initiatives and the skill development of over 400 young people. We endeavour to continue to deliver this kind of impact.
Twelve years ago TakingITGlobal led a movement as a social network for social change. Today, we are cultivating a new generation of changemaker as a catalyst for social innovation.
